America was founded on religious freedom for all, yet recently in a New York subway, an American was killed for his faith. He was murdered by being pushed onto the railway tracks of an oncoming train in New York. His murderer was a woman who believed he was responsible for the attacks on 9/11, and killed him as an act of revenge.

As an American, I am saddened and frightened by this incident. In a nation where such hate is tolerated, what more can we expect?
