Happy Promised Messiah Day! Amid the riches of another equinox, Rama Navami, Passover and Easter, millions worldwide commemorate the modest founding of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. This metaphysical Ark was constructed 126 years ago on March 23 by his holiness Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who claimed to be the Promised Messiah prophesied by many faiths.
Ahmadi Muslims like me believe in Ahmad as a timely spiritual guide, like the previous Messiah Jesus, but this time in the footsteps of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. We celebrate the fulfillment of renowned prophecies by our founder and community striving to extinguish religious wars and resurrect spirituality and peace. Despite opposition, we are the foremost Islamic community to boldly combat terrorism, the earliest Islamic organization in America, and are among the fastest growing and largest Muslim associations in the world united under one spiritual leader.
The community is steered today by his holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifah of Islam, who peacefully serves God and humanity. Under him we’ve launched another enlightening campaign in America called “Stop the CrISIS,” responding to radicalization epidemics.
Let’s celebrate by resolving to vanquish the darkness together with loving coexistence, honesty and justice, regardless of faith or no faith.
