As painful as it is to admit, the image of Islam in America is tainted.
A heinous act 13 years ago by barbarians who claim to be Muslim will forever haunt not only the image of Islam, but America as a whole.
Al Qaeda, the Islamic State, Boko Haram and any other terrorist organization claiming to represent Islam have dragged my beautiful religion through mud and have shown the world the exact opposite of what Islam truly teaches.
As an American Muslim, I firmly believe in the sanctity of life and condemn all terrorism.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (muslimsforlife.org) will be holding its 4th annual Muslims for Life campaign nationwide in remembrance of the victims of 9/11. In the last three years, this community has raised over 33,000 bags of blood to save over 100,000 lives.
Will you shed your blood to save some lives to honor the victims of Sept. 11?
